DT Card for Lexi's Creations Challenge #47 Oriental

                                            Konnichiwa (Koneecheewa) mid day hello

Sponsor: Letraset -   Win some promarkers

Letraset is an online store dealing with all things creative (eg: markers, pads, adhesives, tutorials and well go take a look....) You could win a set of 5 Promarkers

Lexi's Creations Challenge #47 The challenge this fortnight is to create a project using the theme 'oriental.' Take a quick trip over to  Lexi's site  for all the details and  you might want to join in the fun!
Card Details:
The digital stamp of the Japanese girl on the  card is from Fairy Dust Crafts  and is called 'Okichia'. To make the fan I  used  a Rubbernecker stamp called Asian Fan with Tassels but for the purpose of this card I removed the tassels. Sentiment was DIY on the computer. The lovely blue/turquoise flowered paper in the background was from a local craft supply store. The cardstock was all from Stampin' Up.
Medium: Prismacolor markers, ink from Stampin Up
Dies used: Spellbinders Nestabilities -  Reverse Wonky rectangles;  Marriane Creatables Frame Swirl (for the flourishes). Embellishments: flower  from Recollections 'floral embellishments'

Challenges:
Sketchy Colors #81 : shades of blue- my shades run to the  turquoise side  and turquoise is considered a shade of blue. versus teal which is more green). at least that is what  I read  on my google search:)

This card reminds of my very young childhood when the song "Geisha Girl' was on the radio. For those of you who like some country singing  here is a version of the song sung by the great Hank Locklin  (You Tube)
